I am Emily Luks, a visual artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. My work focuses on exploring different traditional techniques such as oil, watercolor, and pencil drawing, capturing beauty in the everyday with a realistic and detailed approach.
Currently, I am the CEO of TDP CORP S.A. and President of Kuychi Runa, a non-profit association I founded with my partner Dolly Lizarraga. We work in Ocongate, Cusco, at 4000 meters above sea level, supporting women and children in their creative and developmental endeavors.
My art reflects both my academic background and my social commitment. Each piece is born from a careful observation of the world, from still lifes that reveal the poetry of simple objects, to animal portraits that capture their purest essence, seeking to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary contemplations.

It all starts with careful observation. I study the light, shapes, and details that make each subject unique.
I develop sketches and preliminary studies to find the perfect composition that conveys the desired emotion.
With patience and dedication, I work layer by layer until I achieve the depth and realism I seek.
